Mississippi proposed House Bill 34 includes provision to all of the use of deadly force against looters, reading in relevant part:
SECTION 6. Section 97-3-15, Mississippi Code of 1972, is amended as follows:
97-3-15. (1) The killing of a human being by the act, procurement or omission of another shall be justifiable in the following cases:
(j) When necessarily committed in lawful defense of one’s own business, where there is rioting, looting or other activity in violation of Sections 1 and 2 of this act.
