  1. I would agree that it is very dangerous to “learn the law” from these anecdotal cases when they do not occur in your jurisdiction. The statute law in Missouri would have quite a few surprises for a person compared to the law you are talking about applying in this case. A Missouri prosecutor would probably not bring charges in this case, but he could and you would have to go all the way to the Missouri Supreme Court to get the charges dismissed.
