§ K – 5.40. Flight [Concealment] 2001

The voluntary flight [concealment] of a Defendant immediately after [the commission of a crime] [being accused of a crime that has been committed] is not sufficient in itself to establish guilt, but it is a circumstance which, if proved, you may consider in the light of all other evidence of the case, in determining guilt or innocence. You alone must determine whether the evidence of flight [concealment] shows a consciousness of guilt and the significance of that evidence.
