Law of Self Defense Interviewed by N24 German TV News

Hey folks,
Well, I was down in Washington DC today at the local bureau of the German television news broadcaster, N24.

I was invited down for an interview by their US-based correspondent, Stephan Strothe. It seems the Germans are fascinated by American self-defense law, our propensity for concealed carry, and how easy it is for us to obtain firearms. Also, 2nd Amendment.

We discussed a wide range of self-defense law, concealed carry, and gun rights topics, as well as covering key elements of the Zimmerman trial, the Dunn trial, and the upcoming Walker trial in Maryland.

Hopefully I left Stephan with a deeper understanding of American self-defense and gun culture than he’d had before I arrived.

Stephan was a very kind host (including paying for our awesome Indian lunch afterwards), and he and his crew did a very professional job–they had a genuine television studio, multiple cameras, a sound guy, the whole works.

Although one of his camera guys took this photo just before I left–granted, it’s taken with my iPhone 5, but still, a bit fuzzy.:-)

Hopefully the actual video footage came out better!  They promised to send me both the raw footage and the produced end-product, and when I get that I’ll post it up here.

Tonight it’s time for some food and drink with a few old buddies stationed at Quantico, then the Culpeper, VA Law of Self Defense Seminar at 9AM sharp tomorrow morning–another sold out class. 🙂

UPDATE:  Part One of the pre-production video.  And Part Two.
