As a participant in the CONSULT program, your use-of-force case will receive priority attention from Attorney Andrew Branca above all other obligations.  Andrew will provide your legal defense team with a complete use-of-force analysis of your case and will advise them how to best utilize that analysis for your benefit.

The CONSULT program provides 20 hours of Attorney Branca's billable hours free of charge, usually more than adequate, for a period of 10 years.

The CONSULT Program requires a one-time investment of $499.95 or 3 monthly payments of $199.95.  For that you will be a part of the Program for a 10 year duration during which Andrew will on call to provide 20 billable hours for any use-of-force case you may face against you at no charge.  This is approximately 5% of the total cost he would normally charge for those hours.

But that is not the only savings you may realize.  Andrew's analysis and consultations are often a key factor when prosecutors decide to toss a case.  That decision is usually made very early in the court proceedings, saving you tens or even hundreds of thousands of dollars in legal fees, as well as months of mental, physical, and financial strain as you otherwise await a trial outcome that may involve substantial jail time and the loss of your gun rights.

Time is of the essence for legal cases. A delayed consult can miss a window of opportunity to convince a prosecutor to toss your case, or otherwise kick you out of the criminal justice system early. Missing these windows greatly increases your legal risk. As with medical expertise, when you need legal expertise you need it RIGHT NOW.

Perhaps.  Self-defense "insurance" companies DO regularly pay Andrew's retainer for their members' cases.  But two common obstacles can arise.

First, Attorney Branca must be available.  Our practice is a complicated business enterprise with many moving parts.  Most lawyers are busy even without product launches, classes, and other products and services Andrew provides.  This significantly limits Attorney Branca's ability to say 'yes' to a case.

CONSULT Program participants will always be Attorney Branca's top priority regardless of other work commitments.  If you are in the Program he is there for you. Period.

Second, all self-defense "insurance" plans contain exclusions and restrictions under which they deny coverage, such as you carrying a gun in a gun-free zone, or having consumed alcohol when the event occurred.

CONSULT Program participants need not worry about any of those types of exclusions or restrictions ... We defend you regardless.

Attorney Branca will be active in your defense but as a consultant to your lead counsel.

It is illegal to practice law in any state where you are not licensed and passed the bar.  Attorney Branca cannot possibly maintain 50 licenses or sit for that many exams, even if he wanted to do so.  Plus, there is an art to understanding the personalities and opinions of various judges, prosecutors, and likely jury pools in your area that Attorney Branca couldn't possibly know.

Instead, you will retain a lawyer in the relevant jurisdiction and Attorney Branca will provide consulting services to that attorney, making Andrew's participation in your case both legal and optimally beneficial to you.
