F:36 BODILY INJURY (GENERAL DEFINITION)

“Bodily injury” means physical pain, illness, or any impairment of physical or mental condition.

2. See People v. Hines, 194 Colo. 284, 289, 572 P.2d 467, 470 (1977)(“[t]o support a finding of bodily injury the prosecution must prove that at least some physical pain, illness or physical or mental impairment, however slight”) (emphasis added).

3. See People v. Lobato, 187 Colo. 285, 288, 530 P.2d 493, 495 (1975)(“the injury need not be of a crippling or otherwise incapacitating nature to be within the statutory prohibition”).
